About me:

My goal is to help your to truly appreciate your body and to take care of in a way that allows it to function at its very best. And when it comes to food, I aim to help you learn how to best fuel and nourish your body, using an approach that is intuitive, rather than rigid or restrictive. If you’re struggling with your relationship with food, exercise, and/or your body, my goal is to help you re-learn what it’s like to trust your internal cues and to appreciate all of the incredible things your body can do, instead of focusing on what it looks like. I also love to work with athletes of all ages and abilities to help them best understand how to fuel for training and racing/competition. I have particular interest and experience working with endurance athletes and helping to craft fueling plans for races and training.

My particular areas of interest/expertise are the following: disordered eating/eating disorders, sports nutrition/nutrient timing for races and training, and female hormones throughout the life cycle (including nutrition for pregnancy and postpartum), and secondary amenorrhea (getting a period back).

Professionally, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Spanish at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I then completed my Master's degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Minnesota, and completed my Dietetic Internship through the U of MN + The Emily Program after that. I have worked with clients of all ages over the last several years, and have worked in a variety of settings, including all levels of care for eating disorders.

I currently live in St. Paul where I love to run loops on the river, be outside in general, spend time with my husband, our son, and our corgi, and (of course) cook and eat great food.
